Hello my blog friends! Sorry about the absence, but as usual life got in the way. Nothing earth shattering, but I do tend to become swamped on occasion. Thank you for bearing with me. That being said, I am still on the run (no not from the law :-) oh heavens no!!!), but I must be brief .
Today's card is inspiration for the weekly challenge at The Paper Cabana; make something MONOCHROMATIC. I am actually killing two birds with one stone as this card will go into my Card Care Connections box that, hopefully, will be filled soon and mailed off to help this worthy cause. Click their badge on the right side bar if you have forgotten what CCC is all about. And please visit THE CABANA and play along. You can make anything you want --- a card, a scrapbook page, something 3-d, home decor, you name it ---- as long as you follow the challenge guidelines which this week is monochromatic and as always, your project must use at least one cut file.
The cut file I used was the 3-d ruffled flower from the Silhouette Store. Paper was from my stash, Creative Memories I think, along with a brad from a pack I bought at the local office supply store, an edge punch (which at some point I will be whittling down my collection of those as the Silhouette Cameo can cut these designs in a snap), and a sentiment stamp I have had in my stamp drawer for ages. Hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs, Shawna
