Hi there! I had planned on only doing Silhouette Sunday every other week because of my Squigglefly Design Team's cards needing to be published to the Squigglefly blog every other Monday, but I did find time during an extreme cold spell that kept me indoors to work on some scrap booking. I hadn't really decided what I wanted to do with the pictures that were next in my stack to scrap so I decided to do something with the photos of Burger my wire hair fox terror (um, terrier), AKA my juvenile delinquent.
Erin over on the DCWV blog provides a sketch once a month and I decided to use that to create my page. As are most of my pages, it's pretty simple. I wanted some fun and funky colors but I didn't want to go too bold and overshadow the pics of The Burg. I used some white core paper and used my sanding block to add some grunge and I heavily distressed the edges of the photo mats. Burger is just so mischievous and, I swear, part goat ---- he can climb almost anything and eats almost anything, so those elements seemed perfect. I cut lettering with the Cameo and also used the sketch feature to put paw prints on the brown paper. Nothing fancy at all, but the page really worked well to mirror my boy. Thanks for stopping by!
