2012

and I am publishing a scrapbook page from 2009.  I am not behind, oh no not a bit. LOL!!! Silhouette Sunday will be published every other week during my term on Squigglefly's Design Team (I am still so jazzed about that!!!)  because the teams must have their cards in by noon on Sunday---- so there's a bit of a conflict.  The two design teams design and publish a card every other week so it will work out just fine! If you haven't seen the new releases at Squigglefly, check them out!

This time of the year I am heavy into trying to get caught up on my scrap books. These two 8.5 x 11 pages were done when I first got my Silhouette so I am not actually as far behind as it seems.  I was, and still am, in love with the ability to cut fonts.  The pages are very simple, which tends to be my style with scrapbooks.  I work outside my own box from time-to-time, but I do tend to keep my pages very clean and simple.  It's quite an eye opener to go back to the very first pages one has made and browse forward; scrapping styles and trends change and our pages show it, but the basic style tends to stay the same.  Time to break out of the shell?  Maybe 2012 will be the year.

Here's my sweet Zachie and the sheep-that-looks-like-a-goat. A Gheep!  LOL!! It's a Barbados sheep if I remember correctly. My son and his family raised this little guy after it was orphaned.  He worked for a local water district and a herd of the animals were put inside the huge enclosure surrounding the water ponds to keep the grass down.  They all had a wonderful experience raising this little guy.
Bicycle helmets, apples, and gheep.  Little boys..........go figure!
As a side note ---- the first photo, which was correctly orientated in my photo program, loaded sideways AGAIN..................so I went back into my photo program and saved it sideways and reloaded to my post.  And it loaded correctly.  What a PIB, but at least I know I can fix it now!  Blogger ---- you have problems!!!  Thanks for stopping by.  Hugs, Shawna
