MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!

I hope it was a special, wonderful, memorable time for all of you.  Being with my sons and their families is so special to me.  We don't live but a mere 50 miles apart, but we do not see each other as often as I would like.  They may have a difference of opinion :-)  but that's mine. Now that the celebration of our Savior's birth is all but over I wanted to show you the shirts I made for the guys in my life.  My oldest son races motorcycles (this terrifies me) and I wanted to do a T shirt for him to acknowledge that while I hate the very thought of his getting hurt ----- he has and he will ------- I do support his love of the sport.  I searched for a font that kind of gave the suggestion of speed and found it in the font called First . When I had the words on my Silhouette's art board arranged to my liking I added three elongated triangles to also suggest speed.  All that was left to do was cut with the Cameo and apply the Heat Transfer Vinyl according to directions. It applies easily and looks so professional.  HTV was also used for my little grandson's blue shirt.  He was helping me choose files from the Silhouette Store one day and we ran across GO DAWGS.  You should have heard him.  In his sweet little voice he whispered "Oh, gramma, I love that" --- well, you know for sure it was going in the cart!!!  Since our last name is Sealander, my son often uses the expression Seadawgs, that's why Zachie wanted the Go Dawgs.  He loves his daddy!!!  The skull shirts are done with fabric paint.  This too is an easy medium to work with using freezer paper for stencils. After I had them done I was worried that the skull might mean something I wouldn't want my grandsons associated with so I asked a friend and she said she didn't think so, that it was just one of those fads.  I know I see them everywhere and I am hoping they really are just an innocent fad thing.

That's it for this Silhouette Sunday.  Thank you for stopping by and once again MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Hugs, Shawna

Shawna,
You did a great job on these t-shirts for your family - and I bet they just loved them!
