Ah October.....

The month of cooler weather, gorgeous leaf displays, and Halloween.  I am not much into Halloween, but my grand kids are and I have to admit doing pages for their scrapbooks is a lot of fun.  The page I am about to show you, and the ones in following days, were done when I first got my Silhouette and was trying all the different techniques that this wonderful machine can accomplish.  I just couldn't publish a Halloween themed piece in the dead of winter! :-)   So today is the day and here it is.
This page is for my granddaughter's album.  Halloween and 2010 were cut from card stock using a font I have on my computer.  The Silhouette will cut using any font you have installed on your computer and any that you download if you don't have one that you like.  How cool is that?  The spiderweb and pumpkin corner decoration was made with the Silhouette's sketch pen feature.  You just replace the cutting blade with a sketch pen and the machine will sketch the design on your paper instead of cutting it out.  Awesome!  You cannot see it in the photo, but the pen I used has sparkle ink.  Coming up next week will be the page I did for my grandson. Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Shawna

Hi Shawna! What a cute Halloween page. Really like that font you used for Halloween and 2010! Great photo too with them in the cute costumes.
This will be something to always treasure.

The font for the Halloween and the sketching are so cool! Just perfect for this page as it is not too young looking. I really like it! And of course the grandkids are darling too!! :)
