Good Sunday morning to you! Thank you for stopping by for a little visit; it is always so nice to see you! Today I have a masculine card to show you and I love how it turned out. I think it has a lot of impact for such a simple card.
The card base is white core and I ran a sanding block lightly over the surface to give a bit of texture. I then cut out the moose frame on my Silhouette, added the sentiment tag to the twine, wrapped the twine around the frame and attached the frame to the card base with some Pop Dots to give a bit of dimension. A few strokes of Liquid Applique to the mountains and I called this card done. The sentiment says Happy Birthday, but just changing the sentiment makes this the perfect Father's Day card. I do think that next time (and there WILL be a next time --- I love this moose frame and intend to use it many, many times) I will add a setting sun behind the mountains and sand highlights more vigorously into the middle of the frame to simulate the reflection of sunlight off water.
