Dog-gone

Good morning.  Can you believe it is the first of June!  The people in the east are having record breaking hot temps and here on the west coast we are drowning.  There's pretty much a pall of depression hanging over everyone.  It's, well, depressing!  But not a thing can be done about the weather, so I am trying real hard to cope. 
Today's card was inspired by Squigglefly's weekly challenge theme of THREE.  Use three of something.  Although the image is not a Squigglefly image, I used it on this card because it just fit what I was trying to accomplish-- and I love this little  Clear Dollar Stamp doggie.  The three part comes in with the use of my paper.  It is the same paper treated three different ways.  I sanded the card base to distress it, ran the center piece through the Houndstooth Cuttlebug folder and sanded it, too, and the two strips with the rivets were left as is (does anyone but me use these anymore???). The addition of a knotted piece of twill tape completes it. Inside it says Hope You Have a Dog-gone Good Day.  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Shawna
